WebJunction
This resource lists many different topic ideas for library programming, both in person and virtual. The site also provides educational resources on a wide range of topics including advocacy, volunteering, marketing, and much more, as well as a course catalog for professional development.

Resource #2

National Impact of Library Public Programs Assessment
In partnership with the American Library Association, National Impact of Library Public Programs Assessment has provided programming resources for public libraries. These resources include a virtual toolkit for building stronger programming, programming competencies for success, as well as programming frameworks.

Resource #3

Programming Librarian - American Library Association
This website provides information on virtual programming inlcuding webinars, articles, and program models. This source was created by the American Library Association in response to closings during the recent pandemic. The site features a helpful program search that can be filtered by budget, age, and library type.

State Library of Iowa
This resource, from the State Library of Iowa, is a compilation of programming services geared toward children, young adults, and homeschoolers.

American Library Association
This resource, created by the American Library Association, is a list of library programming inspiration. The list is divided into four categories: adults, seniors, low cost, and passive.

Massachusetts Library Association
Massachusetts Library Association has created a comprehensive manual for adult program planning, which is available to access for free. The manual discusses community, program development and management, marketing, and more.

Massachusetts Library System
This website provides a list of materials related to inclusive programming. Grant opportunities, informational videos, and recommendations for community needs assessments are available, along with many more valuable resources.

Peace Library System
This website provides a list of programming ideas and instructions geared toward patrons in all age groups, from babies to seniors, and includes world language, multicultural, and STEAM programs.

Resource #9

The Show Me Librarian
This resource is a comprehensive list of STEAM programming resources for young patrons. There are many offerings from preschool to school age, and resources for families and all-age ranges are included as well.

Resource #10

5 Minute Librarian
This website offers a list of adult and senior programming ideas divided by topic. Topics include local, DIY crafts, technology, food, presenters, educational, gardening, writing, and fun/entertainment.
